Special Events Manager

Julia grew up in New Jersey and developed a passion for live events and community engagement early on. She attended the University of South Carolina, studying Sport and Entertainment Management, where she gained hands-on experience in production, marketing, security, and social media—skills that built a strong foundation for her career in sports and event management.

After graduating, Julia joined the Binghamton Rumble Ponies as a Marketing and Promotions Assistant for the season. Her energy, organization, and ability to connect with fans quickly led to a full-time role as Director of Group Sales and Community Relations, where she coordinated group experiences, fostered partnerships, and managed community outreach initiatives.

Ready to take on a new chapter, Julia became a Special Event Coordinator with the St. Paul Saints. Over the next two seasons, she played an integral role in planning and executing a wide range of events, from large-scale festivals to community-focused gatherings. After two seasons, she was promoted to Special Events Manager, where she continues to create memorable experiences and strengthen connections between the organization and its partners.

Originally from a small town in North Dakota, Sarah Olsen always dreamed of being part of something bigger than herself. That drive led her to St. Cloud State University, where she earned her degree in Communication Studies with dual emphases in Hospitality and Marketing, along with a certificate in Professional Selling.

Now based in Minnesota for the past seven years, Sarah has spent the last four building a dynamic career in the events and hospitality industry. Her experience spans food service, lodging, tourism, events, and sports—giving her a well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for the behind-the-scenes work that creates memorable experiences.

Along the way, Sarah has developed a strong skill set rooted in critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. She’s discovered a true passion for sports hospitality, which led her to her current role as Special Events Manager with the Saint Paul Saints—where she combines her love of events with the energy of the ballpark.
